If you own a boat, yacht or narrowboat and you're thinking of re-vamping the interior, protecting the furnishings in a newer vehicle, or perhaps improving your comfort when sleeping, then we can certainly help!
Our boat & yacht upholstery orders tend to be made from start to finish by one member of our experienced team, as we find this gives them an interest in seeing the finished product as well as engendering a real sense of pride in the job.
There are 2 different ways in which we can re-upholster or cover your Yacht, Boat or Narrowboat Cushions:
1. PRICE BANDS 1 & 2 Specification
• We strip off your old cushion fabric (if recovering existing cushions), or supply new high density foam if you wish, add Dacron Wadding to the foam and then permanently upholster your cushions in your choice of over 1,000 on-going upholstery fabrics.
• There is a vast choice available (over 1,000 fabrics, 500 of which are at the same cost) including plain, semi-plain, and patterned fabrics in many types and textures, including Chenilles, Flat Weaves and Crushed Velvets, in a myriad of designs and colours.
• Your boat, yacht or narrowboat cushions are then normally buttoned to give the finishing touch. ‘Piping’ and ‘Quilting’ can also be added if you wish at extra cost.

2. EASY CARE Specification
• If you are looking for the convenience of proper textured upholstery covers that can be easily removed and machine washed… then our ‘Easy Care’ Specification is ideal.
• We strip off your old fabric (if recovering existing cushions), or supply new high density foam if you wish, add Dacron Wadding to the foam and then cover your cushions in a range of OVER 200 MACHINE WASHABLE Upholstery Fabrics.
• These include plain and semi-plain Textured Weaves, Faux Linens, Crushed Velvets etc, in a wide range of colours.
• We fit a full-length zip, out of sight, to enable you to easily remove the covers whenever you wish.
• Most customers don't have their new Easy Care cushions buttoned, as they want to easily remove and refit their covers after washing. However, buttons can be fitted at extra cost if required.

QHow do I get an Upholstery Quotation?
All you need to do to receive a Quote is to send us some images of the upholstery in your particular Boat, Yacht or Narrowboat.
QCan you send me fabric samples?
Yes, you can view over 1,000 fabrics on our unique Fabric Selector. You can use the built-in shopping cart system to easily request FREE samples of the fabrics that you like and are considering for your upholstery or curtains.
QDo you re-upholster my old Boat cushions, or make brand new?
We can do either. If your cushions are still comfortable, we will Re-upholster them using the original fillings. If not, we can make some or all of your cushions brand new.
QCan you refill my existing Boat cushions with new fillings?
Yes, we have a Professional Cushion Refilling Service and if you’re not local we have a FREE Collection Service throughout Mainland UK to collect your Motorhome cushions.
QDo you strip out the upholstery from my Boat and refit it?
No, you would remove the cushions, plus any other items, and pack them into special giant packaging bags that we send you.
QMy Boat is not near Bristol. Can you still help?
Yes, we offer a FREE Collection Service throughout Mainland UK.
QHow do you collect my Boat Upholstery?
We send you special packaging and once packed-up our courier would collect everything from your home, or Marina Office if preferable.
QDoes your courier come to my Boat to collect?
No, they will only collect from your home, or Marina Office.
QDoes your courier deliver my upholstery back to my Boat?
Again, they will only deliver back to your home, or Marina Office.
QHow long does it take to re-upholster my Boat?
You will normally only actually be without your upholstery for around 3-4 weeks. However, our lead time before we can do your job varies according to the time of year. We’ll discuss this with you.
QHow many fabrics can I choose from?
We have over 1,000 on-going fabrics to choose from.
QDo you make washable seat covers?
Yes, we have over 200 fabrics in our Easy Care Range. These covers can be removed and machine washed.
QDo you make Boat / Yacht Curtains?
Yes, we make made-to-measure replacement curtains in a very wide range of fabrics.
BOATS: HOW WE WORK
The way we work with your Boat is as follows:
FREE MAINLAND UK COLLECTION & DELIVERY BY COURIER INCLUDED
IMPORTANT: Please note that we don't offer a removal and refitting service for the items on your boat, yacht or narrowboat and we don't have the facility to keep your boat here at our premises in Bristol.
• If you would like a cost for your particular Boat, Yacht or Narrowboat, please just send us some images, or a link to an identical ‘van for sale online and we will gladly Quote you options and costs.
• Take a look at our unique online Fabric Selector and we will gladly post you fabric samples free of charge.
• We book you a ‘Production Slot’ in our schedule and we would borrow your items just before we would be starting work on your order.
• If you’re not local to Bristol, we send you specially made packaging. You put your cushions in the packaging.
• Once you’ve packed everything into our giant packaging, we can send our courier to collect from your home (If you’ve taken everything back home from your boat) or from your Marina office, as long as it’s permanently manned.
• If our courier is collecting from your Marina, you would need to leave your parcels in the Office, ready for collection. PLEASE NOTE: The courier will NOT go to your actual Boat.
• Once back here in Bristol, we carry out all the work and when completed we send everything safely back to you, again by courier.

When we recover your Boat, yacht or Narrowboat cushions we can of course replace the foam filling on any cushions where you feel they lack support.

CBSCC COMFORT EXTRA GRADE
This is an excellent high density foam that gives fantastic comfort and durability. So much so, that we give it a 7 year Guarantee! This grade is ideal for both sitting and sleeping on and is available in various degrees of firmness.
Boat, YACHT & Narrowboat Cushion Refilling
Our Professional Cushion Refilling Service has helped countless customers whose cushions have lost their comfort and support, but where the fabric is still in good condition and does not need changing.
We can help you regardless of whether your cushions are zipped. Even if they are not zipped, we will unpick your cushions and professionally refill them with our High Density Comfort Extra foam. We’ll re-sew your covers with a good quality replacement lining, this time made from ‘Cotton Twill’ and we also fit a full length zip in case you need to remove your covers in the future. Finally we refit your buttons.

Boat, YACHT & Narrowboat Cushion Re-Lining
The original linings are often made using a cheap man made ‘felt’ kind of material that after a while starts to deteriorate. To solve this, we can unpick your cushions and re-sew them with a good quality replacement lining, this time made from ‘Cotton Twill’.
We also fit a full length zip in case you need to remove your covers in the future. Finally we refit your buttons.
Boat, Yacht & Narrowboat Mattresses
The original mattresses supplied often leave a lot to be desired with regards to comfort, especially after a few years use. If you have this problem, we’re fully geared up to help you!
We make excellent quality made-to-measure fire retardant foam mattresses which give a high standard of comfort, usually far superior to your average sprung mattress. They offer good durability, are non-allergenic and do not cause perspiration.
We can make your new mattress to any shape and size and we automatically fit a fully enclosing, zip off made-to-measure cover.
Boat, Yacht & Narrowboat Curtains
We've been making made-to-measure boat, yacht and narrowboat curtains for more than 35 years, so we’re very able to offer you exactly what you require in the way of curtains, pelmets, tie-backs, scatter cushions etc.
CURTAIN FABRICS
We offer a wide range of over 130 curtain fabrics, all chosen for their quality and suitability. Some are also 'Black Out', so they don't let the light in, and are also mould and mildew resistant.
We have plain and semi-plain curtain fabrics in a range of textures and a myriad of colours. Some of our fabrics also have the practicality of being machine washable.
Boat Porthole Bungs
We are able to make made-to-measure boat/narrowboat ‘Porthole Bungs’
These are made to fit snugly inside your boat's portholes to keep out light and act as added insulation. They can be made in a variety of fabrics and colours to suit whatever boat colour scheme you have.

FABRIC SELECTORFREE Mainland UK Collection & Delivery Service
Regardless of where you live in Mainland UK, if we need to borrow any of your furnishing items, to carry out your order (e.g. for cushion refilling, upholstery or re-upholstery) this is no problem!
Using our FREE Mainland UK Collection & Delivery Service, we will simply send you special packaging, collect the packaged furnishings from you by courier and then safely return your finished order to you by the same method, ready for you to enjoy.
THIS FREE SERVICE OPERATES WITHIN MAINLAND UK
